Caesars nets multi-year Indianapolis Colts partnership
Casino heavyweight gains naming rights and new sportsbook lounge in latest sports betting deal
Caesars Entertainment has signed an expanded multi-year sports betting and casino partnership with NFL franchise the Indianapolis Colts.
The new and exclusive agreement sees the US operator become sports betting partner and official casino partner to the team.
It expands upon the existing Colts-Caesars partnerships with Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino and Indiana Grand Racing & Casino.
As part of the expansion, Caesars Sportsbook will receive additional marketing and sponsorship assets, including naming rights for Lucas Oil Stadium’s South Gate, which will now be known as Caesars South Gate.
Caesars will also open a sportsbook lounge at the Lucas Oil stadium, with live odds being displayed on LED screens as part of the deal.
In addition, Caesars will become sponsors of the free-to-play “Pick 6” predictor game on the Colts’ mobile app.
Caesars Sportsbook will also be integrated into the NFL franchise’s media and marketing efforts, bringing exclusive offers and promotions directly to fans through the newly branded sports betting app.
Caesars Digital co-president Chris Holdren said: “Indiana has been a special place for our company and we know how passionate these great sports fans are for their home team.
“Caesars will continue to push for innovation to bring the best in sports experiences, both in-person and on mobile, to the Hoosier State through Caesars Sportsbook and our partnership with the NFL,” he added.
Elsewhere, Caesars has added former ESPN pundit and sports media personality Kenny Mayne as its latest brand ambassador and content contributor.
In his new role, Mayne will write, produce, and deliver original sports betting content that will be shared on Caesars’ social and other media channels, while also making live event and commercial appearances.
A former NFL quarterback before retiring due to an ankle injury, Mayne has since enjoyed a 27-year broadcasting career with ESPN.
In addition to anchoring SportsCenter, Mayne contributed to shows including The Mayne Event for NFL Sunday Countdown and Kenny Mayne’s Wider World of Sports on ESPN.com.
Mayne also fronted ESPN’s horseracing broadcasts and most recently anchored a nightly show during the Olympics on NBC streaming service Peacock.
The new Caesars brand ambassador said: “I don’t think anyone could have written a better job description for what I’ll be doing. In fact, I got to help write the job description.
“Our intent is to do some fun things related to Caesars Sportsbook, the history of Caesars, and the sports bettors who engage with Caesars,” he added.
