Caesars scores first casino partnership with the Houston Texans
Gaming giant’s rewards program to be integrated into team’s digital and traditional media channels amongst other incentives for fans

Caesars Entertainment has secured a multi-year deal to become the first official casino partner of the NFL’s Houston Texans.
As part of the agreement, which will begin before the NFL season kicks off in September, Caesars Rewards will sponsor the free-to-play “Schedule Pick’Em” game available on the Texans’ official mobile app.
In the run-up to the release of the NFL schedule being released, fans are able to submit their matchup predictions with a chance to win exclusive prizes.
These include paid stays to Caesars properties and game tickets, while at each game one Texans season ticket holder will be chosen for a chance to win an all-inclusive trip to Las Vegas.
Furthermore, Caesars Rewards will be integrated into the team’s promotional channels, including signage at the Texans’ NRG Stadium, and digital and traditional media assets.
Texans president Greg Grissom enthused: “I’m thrilled to launch this multi-year partnership with Caesars Entertainment. It aligns perfectly with our commitment to creating memorable experiences for our fans.”
“We have some great events lined up for this upcoming season that fans will not want to miss, and this partnership with Caesars is just another example of how we continue to look for ways to enhance the experience,” he added.
A bill, HB 2070, to bring sports betting to Texas faltered earlier this year due to a lack of support as the 2021 legislative session expired.
However, there is optimism that enough support can be garnered in 2022 to bring legal sports betting to the Lone Star State, perhaps as early as 2023.
As the country’s second most populous state (29.7 million) and home to 10 professional sports franchises, Texas would be a huge sports betting domino to fall.
