Caesars unveils debut sports betting app
Nevada sportsbook soft launches Miomni-powered product ahead of full rollout

Caesars Entertainment has soft-launched its first sports betting app, powered by Miomni.
The beta version of the product went live on September 5, with a full version expected by the end of the year. Sports available on the new app include pro football, pro basketball, golf and UFC.
The launch brings Caesars in line with the majority of Vegas sportsbooks, with Stations the first to offer an app back in 2010.
Miomni, which also powers apps from Boyd Gaming, Golden Nugget and the Wynn among others, said the Caesars product looks and operates similarly to its other apps.
“The aesthetic of the Caesars Entertainment app is clean and easy to use, with a simple color scheme,” the firm said.
“Headers for the app are white text on a black background. All text and icons in the app are black on a white background, and the color scheme is cleaner and easier to read than some other Miomni sports wagering apps.”
Mobile wagering is becoming increasingly important in Nevada with Eilers & Krejcik Gaming projecting it to account for 50% of the state’s sports betting handle by 2020 compared to around 35% today.
More than 53% of William Hill’s Nevada revenue comes via handheld devices.
