Canadian Gaming Association adds quartet of execs to board of directors
Trade body welcomes representation from DraftKings and Great Canadian Gaming Corporation to boardroom

The Canadian Gaming Association (CGA) has appointed four major industry figures to its board of directors.
They are: Scott Burton, FansUnite CEO, Neil Erlick, Nuvei’s chief corporate development officer, Jeffrey Haas, DraftKings SVP of international strategy, and Chuck Keeling, Great Canadian Gaming Corporation EVP of stakeholder relations.
The four new board members join fellow industry figures from companies including Hard Rock, Flutter and Scientific Games on the board.
They were appointed at an annual general meeting of the CGA held in November 2021.
The trade association body has bolstered its board as Canada continues its journey to single-event sports betting in the country and the regulation of commercial igaming in Ontario.
Paul Burns, CGA CEO and president, said: “I am pleased to welcome Scott, Neil, Jeffrey and Chuck to the CGA board and believe their experience will help the association implement its operational strategy as we move out of Covid.
“These seasoned professionals have strong track records as trusted leaders in the gaming industry, and they will provide invaluable insight as we look to launch a regulated igaming market in Ontario and single-event sports betting across Canada,” he added.
