Growth was driven by online lottery ticket sales, which jumped from $37,332 in 2015 to $138,391 this year, representing a 270% increase and marking the second consecutive month of triple digit growth.
The surge in lottery revenues was more than enough to offset a 61% dip in online casino revenue, which tumbled to just $26,089 during the month.
Poker revenues remained relatively flat year on year – down 4% – at $26,348 but fell 15% sequentially.
Delaware Park continued to lead the charge with total new revenues of $90,512, representing a 5% increase on the previous year.
The operator saw a 73% dip in casino revenue to $13,625 offset by lottery ticket sales increasing 218% to $60,327 while poker remained flat at $16,560.
Dover Downs hung on to second spot with total net revenues almost doubling (up 94%) to $63,399 driven by again by lottery sales increasing from $10,517 to $44,041.
However it was Harrington Raceway that boasted the greatest YoY growth, with net revenues up and impressive 175% to $36,917 despite making a $280 loss from online casino during the month.
A total of 456 new online gaming accounts were opened during the period, taking the total since launch in November 2013 to 13,945.
