
Delaware online casino revenues tumble 42%
Figures for November show drop in casino was offset by a 95% increase in the sale of lottery ticketsÂ
Online gaming revenues in Delaware remained relatively flat during November despite a significant drop-off in casino figures, according to the latest figures published by the state lottery. [private]
Total net revenue for the month increased 3% from the $177,532 recorded in November last year to $182,664, driven by a 95% increase in online lottery ticket sales to $98,573.
The increase in ticket sales was enough to offset a massive 42% decline in online casino revenues to $55,105, with poker remaining relatively flat at $28,985.
Delaware Park maintained its market leading position with revenues of $92,153 during the month, but down from the $119,402 it posted last year.
Dover Downs saw its revenues increase an impressive 74% to $50,715 after lottery ticket sales increased from $10,869 in 2014 to $34,570 this year.
Harrington Raceway remained in third place, but continues to close the gap to its rivals and recording total net revenues of $39,795 during the month.
A total of 381 new accounts were created in November, taking the total since launch in November 2013 to 13,072.
