
Delaware online gaming revenues bounce back in October
Revenues up 40% YoY driven by a 96% hike in online lottery but poker posts lowest recorded total
Delawareâs online poker market returned to growth after months of decline in October, with net revenues up 40% year on year, according to the latest figures released by the state lottery. [private]
Net revenues jumped from the $130,268 recorded in October last year to $182,969 with online lottery revenues almost doubling (up 96%) to $109,557 during the month.
Casino games edged up 7% to $49,382, however poker suffered its worst month of record generating rake of just $24,030.
Delaware Park maintained its market leading position in terms of revenues, attracting $85,240 during the month, up from $74,850 last year.
Dover Downs saw its revenues increase and impressive 93% YoY to $58,647 driven by online lottery ticket sales increasing from $12,991 to $40,045.
Harrington Raceway also recorded solid YoY growth with revenues up 56% to $39,081 with online casino attracting $8,350, poker $3,583, and lottery $26,968.
A total of 434 new online egaming accounts were created in September, taking the total since launch in November 2013 to 12,691.
