
Delaware posts record online revenues in March
Online net revenue hits $260,539 representing a 78% increase year on year
Online gaming revenues hit record highs in Delaware in March with revenues up a massive 78% year on year to $260,539, according to the latest figures released by the State Lottery. [private]
The increase was driven by lottery ticket sales, which grew 204% from $50,926 in March 2015 to $154,794 this year and the fourth consecutive month of triple digit growth.
Online casino revenues were also up during the month, increasing 33% to $68,420 while poker fell from $43,636 in 2015 to $37,324 this year.
Delaware Park continued to lead the charge with net revenues of $149,346, with casino contributing $64,256 and lottery ticket sales $64,642.
But poker accounted for just $20,447 of the operatorâs total, down 35% year on year.
Dover Downs held second spot with total revenues of $86,553, albeit a long way behind the market leader. Lottery sales contributed $64,487, poker $15,527 and casino $6,539.
Harrington Raceway remained firmly in third sport with revenues of $24,639 after posting a $2,375 loss from its online casino games.Â
The record highs have been mirrored in nearby New Jersey, which saw online revenues hit $15.5m in March.Â
