Domino’s and DraftKings team up as part of curbside pickup initiative
Pizza lovers have chance to win share of $200k during carside delivery challenge

Domino’s Pizza customers will have some extra skin in the game next time they opt for a curbside pickup order thanks to a new initiative the pizza chain is rolling out in concert with DraftKings.
Deemed ‘Domino’s Carside Delivery 2-Minute Guarantee,’ the food chain is offering free pizza to any customers who don’t have their order in hand within two minutes of checking in for pickup at the store. Additionally, DraftKings is co-launching the ‘Domino’s Carside Delivery 2-Minute Guarantee Over/Under Challenge,’ whereby customers will be able to predict if the nationwide initiative is successful more or less than 80% of the time for a chance to win a share of $200,000.
“While Domino’s is no stranger to guarantees, this is the first time DraftKings has created a betting pool based on a company’s performance,” said Domino’s EVP and CMO Art D’Elia. “Did Domino’s just ask America to predict the over/under on our new two-minute guarantee? Oh yes we did. We want customers to put our guarantee to the test.”
The tie-in with the world’s largest pizza company represents another unique marketing and acquisition effort on the part of DraftKings, which has leveraged everything from media acquisitions, league partnerships, and even a deal with wireless provider Boost Mobile to build its database of potential sports bettors. The over/under challenge is available on DraftKings’ daily fantasy app, creating yet another low-cost avenue for the operator to convert DFS users to its sportsbook product.
The challenge, which is free-to-play and running through July 12, will produce a cash prize of $200,000 to be split among the winning contestants at the conclusion of the campaign.
