DraftKings seals Kambi sportsbook deal
Partnership will start in New Jersey with option to expand to other states in the US as they regulate

DraftKings has announced a deal with Kambi for the Swedish firm to provide sportsbook technology and services to the DFS operator.
The agreement will see DraftKings utilise Kambi technology to power its imminent sportsbook launch in New Jersey and includes terms for the partnership to expand to other states in the US.
Kristian Nylén, Kambi chief executive officer, said: “I am delighted Kambi has been selected to partner DraftKings as it enters the sports betting market.
“The Kambi technology is unique in that it empowers operators to innovate and create differentiated sports betting experiences, providing the flexibility which will be crucial in the developing U.S. market.”
DraftKings has been preparing for the launch of its sportsbook in New Jersey by applying for a sports betting license in the state, inking its first sportsbook deal with Resorts Atlantic City, while at the same time launching its first sportsbook related advertising campaigns across the state .
The company is also rumored to be planning to raise between $150-$200m via additional company investment to further expand its sportsbook business into other states, should regulations permit.
It has been a busy period for both Kambi and DraftKings following the Supreme Court ruling, with Kambi signing a multi-year deal to provide sportsbook services to fellow U.S. provider Rush Street Interactive in May , following this up by signing a second deal with Rush Street to launch sportsbook services in the newly regulated Colombian market earlier this month.
