Evolution Gaming opens live casino studio in New Jersey
First studio in USA will offer 10 live tables, with more game launches planned over coming months
Evolution Gaming has announced the opening of its first purpose-built, live-casino studio in New Jersey.
The new studio which is Evolution’s tenth studio worldwide, will initially employ 50 people but further members of staff will be recruited as the studio expands.
It will initially offer 10 online live tables and a number of Evolution games including : American (Double Zero) Roulette, Blackjack with side bets and Bet Behind, Baccarat, Three Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em Poker and Slingshot Roulette.
The company has confirmed that more products will be launched in the near future, including “dedicated tables that can be used by operators for live sporting event promotions and to cross-promote land-based casino attractions.”
Evolution currently operates dual play roulette tables at the Resorts Casino Hotel, Ocean Resort Casino and the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Atlantic City.
Evolution CEO Martin Carlesund said its entry into the US market has been a “carefully considered long-term project”.
Carlesund added: “Having closely monitored US market developments over the past few years, while reinforcing our position as live casino market leaders in Europe, we believe that now is the right time to launch with a full-fledged studio facility for the US.
“We are now extremely well placed to support our licensees as they acquire and grow market share in the exciting new US Live Casino market.”
