FanDuel adds PokerStars MD as new casino head
Sports betting-led operator adds Asaf Noifeld to team to lead igaming expansion in the US

FanDuel has named PokerStars exec Asaf Noifeld as its new managing director of casino.
Noifeld joins the US operator from fellow Flutter Entertainment subsidiary PokerStars, where he most recently served as MD of casino from July 2019 until May 2022.
The Israeli originally joined PokerStars in January 2014 as director of product and innovation.
Prior to arriving at PokerStars, Noifeld spent more than four years with 888 in a series of project manager roles with the London-listed firm.
In his role, Noifeld will be responsible for total oversight of FanDuel’s online casino business.
FanDuel Casino is currently live in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, West Virginia and Ontario.
He will be based in New York at FanDuel’s headquarters.
Speaking on his appointment, Noifeld said: “[I am] thrilled to join a team of superstars at FanDuel and take the casino business to new heights.
“After eight great years at PokerStars, with so many amazing people, it’s time to move on to the next adventure, and stay with the Flutter family,” he added.
Amy Howe, FanDuel CEO, said: “Asaf brings deep experience building online casino businesses across the globe.
“I am delighted to add him to our leadership team, as he has extensive knowledge in the space which will help grow our online casino business in North America,” she added.
Earlier this month, Flutter revealed in its Q1 earnings presentation that US revenue (mainly driven by FanDuel) rose by 45% to £429m on last year and that AMPs jumped 43%.
