FanDuel appoints new chief people officer
Leading US sports betting operator adds former American Express stalwart to C-suite to take charge on HR

FanDuel has appointed HR veteran Tricia Alcamo as the operator’s new chief people officer.
Alcamo joins the Flutter Entertainment brand from fibre technology solutions provider Spectrum Enterprise where she served as group VP of HR from November 2017.
She also spent more than 13 years with American Express and a further six with consultancy firm Deloitte in a series of senior positions.
In her role as chief people officer, Alcamo will lead the sports betting and DFS company’s HR division.
She will be responsible for developing company culture, talent acquisitions, diversity, equity and inclusion, learning and development, and employee benefits.
Speaking on her appointment, Alcamo said: “As FanDuel continues to experience rapid growth in this exciting space, the people team plays a critical role in ensuring that the organization has the culture and capabilities that will enable sustained success well into the future.”
Amy Howe, FanDuel CEO, said: “I am incredibly excited to welcome Tricia to my leadership team as our new chief people officer.
“Her arrival reflects our investment in our people and our commitment to a culture that recognizes and attracts the most talented team while providing them the most empathetic and inclusive environment to succeed,” she added.
Flutter recently secured a hattrick of EGR US Power Rankings victories fuelled largely by FanDuel’s success as America’s market leader in sports betting.
