FanDuel extends IGT retail sportsbook partnership
Operator to use IGT retail sportsbook platform tech in all new states

FanDuel has sealed a four-year contract extension with IGT to supply its retail platform in all states where the operator is live with scope for future expansion.
As part of the deal, FanDuel will also expand its IGT online casino slots and table games portfolio into new igaming states.
Under its previous agreement, the supplier managed nine FanDuel brick-and-mortar sportsbooks including its leading Meadowland property in New Jersey.
Back in September 2018, IGT was also brought on to provide the operator’s online and mobile sportsbook in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Indiana and Colorado.
However, the new contract does not mention extending the IGT mobile sportsbook deal into additional states.
Matt King, FanDuel Group CEO, said: “IGT is the strategic partner that we will lean on to help us expand our retail footprint across the US.
“IGT’s PlaySports platform enables us to create an intuitive, technologically driven customer experience at our world-class retail sportsbooks for our customers, while its PlayCasino content enables FanDuel to deliver premium mobile casino entertainment in new and existing markets,” King added.
IGT PlayDigital SVP Enrico Drago said: “IGT and FanDuel Group are positioned for continued success in the US and we are committed to fueling FanDuel sportsbooks’ sustained growth through our proven, market-ready platform, player-preferred game content and self-service betting technologies.”
FanDuel parent company Flutter Entertainment raised $1bn in additional shares in May to boost its US investment as the firm integrates The Stars Group’s US brands into the business.
