FanDuel recruits former Ticketmaster COO to newly created president role

FanDuel has hired former Ticketmaster Global COO Amy Howe to be the sports betting operator’s first president.
Howe assumes the newly created role having spent the last two years as president and COO of Ticketmaster, which operates under parent company Live Nation Entertainment.
She joined Live Nation Entertainment in April 2014 as chief strategy officer, before advancing to COO of the US business and then taking responsibility for the global brand in a dual role.
As COO of Ticketmaster, Howe led the digital transformation and modernization of the company’s ticketing platform and business model, doubling its growth in gross ticketing value and growing the mobile app install base by 400%.
She also previously served as a partner at Los Angeles-based law firm McKinsey & Company, working with clients across the media, entertainment, retail, and consumer goods sectors.
In her new role, Howe will be responsible for leading the company’s core commercial functions across its sportsbook, casino, racing, and DFS divisions.
