GAN Sports debuts with Island View Casino in Mississippi
Coolbet-adapted B2B sports betting tech solution to allow for on-site online wagering

GAN has officially debuted GAN Sports, its first B2B managed trading services (MTS) platform, with Island View Casino in Mississippi.
GAN, a global provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions for sports betting and igaming operators, adapted the sports betting technology of Coolbet to develop the platform for the US B2B market.
GAN acquired Coolbet and its award-winning tech stack in 2021 and is now looking to scale the adapted platform via US partnerships in 2023 and beyond.
“Following our 2021 acquisition of Coolbet we are thrilled to announce the premiere of GAN Sports, perhaps the most innovative sports experience available on-property anywhere in the US today,” said GAN president and CEO Dermot Smurfit.
“The entire GAN team is excited to partner with Island View Casino Resort and deliver our complete enterprise solution of on-property GAN Sports, PAM and the omnichannel iBridge Framework™ for linking loyalty programs,” he added.
The deployment of GAN Sports at Island View Casino includes 20 internet-connected kiosks for sports wagering and will soon expand to ‘Bet the V’ – a full on-property mobile sportsbook solution.
Bet the V is powered by GAN’s in-house player account management (PAM) system, which produces a comprehensive mobile betting experience featuring omnichannel functionality that can facilitate the linking of loyalty programs.
“We selected GAN for the quality of their sports betting technology and managed trading services following our evaluation of all major potential suppliers,” said Island View Casino VP of operations Steve Hendricks.
“GAN has now brought to our patrons an exciting new on-property sports betting experience enabled by their modern technology and market-leading user interface design greatly encouraging our patrons to construct high-margin, multi-stage parlay bets as well as traditional single-game wagers,” he added.
In addition to providing marketing and customer services, the GAN Sports product could be expanded to a statewide mobile sports betting app if Mississippi – which currently only allows for on-site mobile betting – passes relevant legislation in the future.
