Free State launch quickly surpasses neighboring state Virginia and size-comparable Colorado

More than 16.5 million geolocated sports betting transactions were reported in Maryland over the course of Thanksgiving weekend, according to the latest data from geolocation specialist GeoComply.

The Thanksgiving launch showed traffic, which was almost double that of neighboring Virginia, and more than four times that of similarly sized state Colorado.
In respect of geolocated transactions, numbers far surpassed those of Indiana and Tennessee and were close to the 17.1 million reported in New Jersey, which has a substantially higher population than Maryland.
