The operatorâs GoldenNuggetCasino.com site is now being powered by the NYX open platform system and includes a brand new website and mobile and tablet applications.
Golden Nugget head of online Thomas Winter said the new platform would allow it to take its user experience to a âwhole new levelâ as it looks to grow its share of the New Jersey online casino market.
âThree days after going live, we’ve already recorded new all-time highs in active players and revenues alike,â Winter said.
âWe couldn’t have hoped for a more enthusiastic welcome from our loyal online players, which is the best measurement of the success of this new partnership between NYX and Golden Nugget,â he added.
Winter previously told eGR NA the operator decided to switch platforms following Bally Technolgies’ mega-merger with Scientific Games and that the split was mutually agreed by both parties.
âGolden Nugget has ambitious growth plans for its online real-money gaming business in New Jersey and beyond, which require long-term commitment from its platform provider,â he said at the time.
âScientific Games decided to focus their interactive efforts on content, social gaming and mobile on-property wagering rather than statewide real-money gaming.â
GoldenNuggetCasino.com has gone from strength to strength in New Jersey despite launching late in the market â in October the operator generated revenues of $2.7m.
