Golden Nugget seals West Virginia market access
Operator to join DraftKings and BetMGM in offering its igaming app in the Mountain State

Golden Nugget has partnered with The Greenbrier casino in West Virginia to gain market-access into the online gambling state.
The operator plans to launch both igaming and mobile betting in the state once it receives approval from the regulator.
Igaming was launched in the Mountain State in July after emergency rules were pushed through last year.
DraftKings was the first to launch its online casino in the state with a standalone app separated from its betting product.
In August, BetMGM was the second brand to launch an online casino product in the state.
Until now Golden Nugget has only been live with its online offering in New Jersey, but it announced plans to expand into igaming states Pennsylvania and Michigan once its reverse merger with SPAC Landcadia Holdings II was completed.
Landcadia is expected to hold a shareholders meeting on December 29 to vote on the deal.
The SPAC yesterday entered into an agreement to modify the voting requirement for stockholder approval of the business combination, to provide increased certainty that the deal will receive stockholder approval.
