In his new role, MartÃÂ will work alongside Imperus CEO James Lanthier and will oversee all business operations for the firm including its other recent acquisition, Diwip.
Martà said Imperusâ two social casino assets were âworld-classâ and that his role will be to ensure the developer is âwell-positionedâ for success.
âI look forward to continuing to work with the outstanding teams of Diwip and Akamon in Barcelona and Tel Aviv as well as the rest of the Imperus team in Toronto,â he added.
Imperus completed its $24m acquisition of Akamon back in November after the deal suffered a brief setback earlier in the year.
Imperus chief exec Lanthier said he was delighted MartÃÂ has accepted the broader role of overseeing the Imperus business and that it was a âgreat step forwardâ for his firm.
âWith his extensive business building experience and knowledge of the social casino and broader games and gaming industries he is ideally placed to help Imperus maximise the benefits of our acquisitions.â
