
Iowa revenues reach $5.6m in October
William Hill dominates via its Prairie Meadows partnership with a 31% market share


Iowa posted a record $5.6m in betting revenues in October, up 14% on the previous month.
Total handle came in at $46.5m handle across the state’s 19 operators.
Online wagers, available via seven of the operators, accounted for 56% of total handle.
William Hill, operating via Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino, reported the highest revenues of $1.7m, with a 31% market share.
FanDuel powers two Diamond Jo sportsbook locations and recorded revenues of $575,620 across both sites.
Ameristar came in third with total revenues of $466,958, followed by Horseshoe Casino Council Bluffs with $466,507.
DraftKings operates three retail sportsbooks in partnership with Wild Rose in October, amassing total revenues of $98,263 in its first month of launch.
Neighboring state Indiana recorded revenues of $11.5m in October, up 28% on its launch in September.
Bettors in Iowa are required to make an in-person registration before betting online.
