
Kindred signs casino sponsorship with Philadelphia Eagles
NFL team will display the operator’s Unibet branding both online and at its Lincoln Financial Field stadium


Kindred’s Unibet has signed a multi-year casino sponsorship deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, as the firm grows its brand awareness in the US.
Unibet’s branding will displayed at the team’s home stadium, the Lincoln Financial Field, although no betting promotions will be shown.
Branding will also be displayed on the Eagles’ website and social media channels, as well as in any print publications.
Head of US marketing at Kindred, Arnas Janickas said: “As we look to grow our footprint in the US, it only made sense to partner with one of the largest, most respected and loved teams in the NFL.
“The Eagles’ unmatched fan engagement and relentless innovation in digital space definitely helped to make this partnership a reality,” Janickas said.
SVP revenue and strategy for the Philadelphia Eagles, Catherine Carlson said: “Unibet’s reputation as a global leader in the online gambling space has helped the company establish a strong, emerging footprint in the Philadelphia market.
“We are proud to align ourselves with a company that is fully dedicated to innovation, the customer experience, and responsible gaming,” she added.
888 signed a similar deal with the NFL’s New York Jets in October last year.
At present, the league does not allow teams to partner with betting operators.
Kindred’s online betting and gaming products will be available in Pennsylvania as from early November, group CEO Henrik Tjärnström said last week.
