Leigh Nissim departs Scientific Games after seven months
The supplier’s Interactive MD departs amid a recent reorganisation following the NYX acquisition, EGR understands

Scientific Games’ Interactive managing director, Leigh Nissim, has left the business after just seven months in the role, EGR Intel understands.
Nissim joined the Nevada-headquartered firm in August last year, with full P&L responsibility for Sci Games’ B2B and B2G digital products division.
However, EGR has learned the former Nektan chief executive has now exited the company, although no formal announcement or reason for the departure has been given.
When contacted by EGR, a Scientific Games spokesperson said: “Scientific Games thanks Leigh for his contributions and wishes him well for his future endeavors.”
Nissim, who also spent four years at IGT from 2012 to 2016, has yet to update his LinkedIn profile to reflect the change.
The departure comes amid a reorganisation of Scientific Games’ digital business following the acquisition of NYX and OpenBet.
In early February, the provider launched SG Digital, which incorporates the existing portfolio of SG Interactive B2B products and services with those of the newly acquired NYX Gaming Group.
The division is led by former NYX CEO Matt Davey.
Nissim had yet to respond to an EGR request for comment at the time of publication.
