Lottery.com’s Lawrence DiMatteo resigns as CEO
Longtime leader of gaming tech company steps down in wake of other executive departures

Lawrence DiMatteo has formally stepped down as CEO of Lottery.com, a move the company affirmed in a recent SEC filing.
DiMatteo, who is also a co-founder of the Nasdaq-traded gaming technology company, had served as CEO of the business since it was established in 2015. The transition was made effective as of July 22.
During his time at the helm, DiMatteo helped build Lottery.com into a go-to source for news, content and online access to legally-sanctioned lottery games. Users are also able to leverage the platform to check real-time results of tickets purchased across more than 800 lottery games.
In addition to leading the growth and global initiatives of Lottery.com, DiMatteo also co-founded WinTogether.org, a philanthropic sweepstakes platform and app that has been folded into Lottery.com.
Although his executive tenure has concluded, DiMatteo will continue to serve as a senior advisor to the Lottery.com board of directors for the foreseeable future.
DiMatteo’s resignation comes amid a particularly turbulent period for Lottery.com, highlighted by the departures of a few other key executives.
Earlier this month, chief revenue officer Matthew Clemenson submitted his resignation. Clemenson was also a co-founder of the company.
Clemenson stepped down on the heels of Lottery.com parting ways with former president and CFO Ryan Dickinson after learning Dickinson failed to comply with certain federal and state regulations regarding the procurement of tickets.
Dickinson’s termination prompted an internal review that revealed the company had overstated its cash balances by approximately $30m
