MGM inks “integrated gaming partnership” with the New York Jets
Jets fans will be offered a new free-to-play prediction game in the team’s official app

The New York Jets have announced their second gambling deal in the space of two days with a new “integrated partnership” with MGM Resorts.
The agreement will see Jets fans offered a new prediction app named “I called It”, which asks them to predict play and game outcomes, with prizes and leaderboard available.
The free-to-play game will be available exclusively through the Jets’ official app, and be sponsored by PlayMGM – MGM’s app which offers casino, betting and poker in nearby New Jersey.
NFL rules allow casino partnerships but not sports betting partnerships, meaning the Jets and MGM cannot push customers directly to the betting part of the app.
“We could not be more excited to join with the New York Jets for a first-of-its-kind partnership in the NFL,” said MGM chairman & CEO Jim Murren.
“We look forward to working with the Jets to innovate gaming, increase our customer base through cross marketing opportunities and provide NFL fans with a one-of-a-kind entertainment experience.”
As part of the agreement, MGM Resorts will also provide a wide range of hospitality for Jets season ticket holders and Jets Rewards members, including premium entertainment experiences and luxury hotel rooms at its Borgata property in Atlantic City, and other MGM Resorts properties in the United States.
A full mix of Jets marketing assets including stadium signage, social, TV and digital sponsorship will also help promote MGM Resorts to fans.
The MGM partnership is the second gambling deal revealed by the Jets this week, after it started promoting 888 at home games and on its official website.
The deal is also the second major sports partnership announced by MGM this week after it became the official betting partner of the NHL.
