Scott Bowen to take up business development role for Michigan iLottery platform provider

Former Michigan Lottery commissioner Scott Bowen has joined NeoPollard Interactive as the senior vice president of business development.
According to the firm, Bowen will work to “inform the industry of the value of iLottery products and services and assist North American lotteries in navigating the complexities of legislative approval and responsible internet gaming”.
Bowen joins NeoPollard Interactive after serving nine years as Commissioner of the Michigan Lottery, where he oversaw the launch of online games in 2014.
The online platform, provided by NeoPollard, generated more than $48m in revenues and more than $380m in sales in the 2015 fiscal year, with these numbers expected to increase by almost 50% in 2016.
“I am very eager to embark on this new opportunity and continue to play a significant role in the digital lottery space,” Bowen said.
“NeoPollard Interactive has proven to be the iLottery leader in North America. I am enthusiastic about the potential that iLottery offers to North American lotteries, and I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with other lottery directors to assist their efforts to offer online games to their players and increase the support they provide to their beneficiaries.”
“We are thrilled that Scott Bowen will be joining us at NPI,” added Doug Pollard, co-CEO at NeoPollard Interactive.
“His esteemed reputation and longstanding success at the Michigan Lottery will be a valued addition to our company and an excellent resource for our customers looking to expand their portfolio with digital products.
“Scott’s experience implementing iLottery solutions will undoubtedly be a tremendous asset when guiding lotteries through the intricacies of internet gaming. His expertise and strategic advice will be beneficial in launching iLottery initiatives and driving sales growth for our lottery clients.”
