
New Jersey betting revenues climb 297% YoY in October
Mobile bets make up 83% of total revenues, down slightly from the previous month


New Jersey betting revenues grew 297% year-on-year to $46.4m in October, according to new figures from the DGE.
Total handle came in at $488m with operators maintaining a hold percentage of 9.5%.
Mobile bets made up 83% of the state’s overall revenues, down 1% from the previous month.
Operating via the Meadowlands license, FanDuel and PointsBet recorded revenues of $20.7m, maintaining a 45% share of the market.
DraftKings and Fox Bet came in second with a 23% market share on revenues of $10.6m.
Borgata and BetMGM’s revenues increased 92% to $1.4m on the previous month, while Hard Rock’s license, including Unibet and bet365, saw revenues climb 83% to $2m.
On the online gaming side, the state took $45.2m in revenues, an increase of 69% year-on-year.
Golden Nugget reigned with $16.6m in revenues, and Resorts closely followed with $10.3m.
The two operators made up 68% of the market.
Indiana’s betting revenues reached $11.5m, up 28% on its launch in September, while Iowa saw revenues grow 14% to $5.6m in October.
