
New Jersey egaming revenues continue to climb
Internet gaming ended 2015 on a high in the Garden State with FY revenues up 21% YoY to $148.9mÂ
New Jersey internet gaming revenues posted their second consecutive record month in December according to the latest figures released by the stateâs Division of Gaming Enforcement. [private]
Total gross gaming revenue (GGR) for the period reached $14m, up 6% sequentially and an impressive 30% on the same period last year.
The latest figures bring total New Jersey online gaming GGR for the full year 2015 to $148.9m, up 21% on the $122.9m generated in 2014.
For the full year, online casino revenues increased 33% to $125.1m, while poker revenues fell 18% to $23.8m. In December, casino contributed $12m to the total, while poker accounted for $2m.
The Borgata continued to lead the charge in December, generating revenues of $3.9m during the month, up 8% on the previous year.
Caesars Interactive, which operates the CaesarsCasino, HarrahsCasino and 888poker and casino brands, reclaimed second place from Tropicana, with GGR of $3.1m in December, up 15% sequentially.
Golden Nugget jumped up to third place with revenues of $2.9m after recently switching its platform from Bally Technologies to NYX Gaming.
Tropicana slipped back to fourth, attracting GRR of $2.8m from its TropicanaCasino.com site, while Resorts Casino generated GRR of $1.2m from its ResortsCasino and MoheganSunCasino brands.
