Pala Interactive to integrate SBTech sportsbook into proprietary platform
Two tribe-operated brands to go live on tech solution in Canadian province of Quebec

Pala Interactive will offer a sportsbook product to its B2B partners after integrating SBTech’s sportsbook into its proprietary platform.
The five-year agreement will see the firms initially launching two online brands, CanPlaySports and Vipcasino, which are owned and operated by the Canadian tribe, Wôlinak Abenakis First Nation.
According to a company statement, SBTech “fought off several sportsbook suppliers as part of a highly competitive tender process”.
“This partnership will benefit both companies as we continue to rapidly expand our presence across North America and as more US states regulate in the coming months and years ahead,” said Richard Carter, SBTech CEO.
Pala Interactive is an online gaming software company, majority owned by the Pala Band of Mission Indians that own and operate the Pala Casino Spa and Resort in California.
Pala Interactive CEO Jim Ryan said: “SBTech lead the way in omni-channel technology and innovation and their sportsbook’s powerful capabilities and flexibility are ideally suited to our customers’ requirements as they increasingly target sports betting and we grow our business across North America.
“This partnership has massive potential to grow even further as more states open and we’re both in a very strong position to capitalize on this.”
Pala Interactive also operates B2C sites in New Jersey.
