
PointsBet hires president of product and tech to drive US expansion
Manjit Gombra Singh held previous exec roles at IGT and Aristocrat, as well as starting his own cybersecurity business


PointsBet has hired former Aristocrat CTO, Manjit Gombra Singh, as its new president of product and technology.
In Singh’s new role he will oversee global operations and drive the operator’s US product strategy as it continues to expand across the States.
Singh founded a cybersecurity company for SMEs in Las Vegas and has acted as a consultant in the space for the last two years.
Prior to his time at Aristocrat, Singh acted as the executive director and general manager for major gaming supplier IGT.
He was also a board member for Metric Gaming between 2018 and 2019.
PointsBet CEO Sam Swanell said: “Manjit recognises the progress we have made and the opportunities ahead.
“Manjit will bring key leadership and technology capabilities to the global business and is well placed to drive our technology and product strategy as we continue to expand in the US,” Swanell added.
The firm IPO’d part of the business in Australia in June and recently partnered with Illinois’ Hawthorne Race Course to offer sports betting on track, at OTBs around the state and online
