Rivers goes live with BetRivers online brand in Pennsylvania
Product is currently undergoing a test period before going fully live tomorrow

Rivers Casino has today launched its online and mobile betting offering in Pennsylvania.
The BetRivers.com site and app will initiate its two day test period this evening as the product awaits final review and approval from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB).
At present, the Bet Rivers app is not available via Apple’s App Store so iPhone and iPad users will have to bet via desktop or mobile browser.
Richard Schwartz, the president of Rush Street Interactive, which owns and operates Rivers, said: “It’s an exciting time for Pennsylvania sports fans. With NFL preseason just a month away, game days this fall will be next-level.”
Rivers Casino general manager Bill Keena said: “Full-service online, mobile and in-casino sportsbooks are where the industry is headed, and thanks to our Team Members, we’re already there.”
The casino operates a Kambi-powered sportsbook both on and offline.
In May Rivers recorded retail betting revenues of $641,029, the second highest in the state during the month.
RSI’s SugarHouse Casino offering was the first to launch online in the state in May and recorded revenues of $38,753 for the month.
RSI is plotting to rebrand that property to Rivers Casino Philadelphia (the existing one is Rivers casino Pittsburgh), with the shift also expected to be carried out across its online betting and casino brands, meaning the SugarHouse brand will ultimately be replaced by BetRiver.
