SBTech eyes US sports betting with new Vegas office
New facility to initially house five staff and will be headed up by egaming consultant Marc Brody

SBTech has revealed plans to open a new office in Las Vegas in early 2018 in an effort to put down roots ahead of the potential legalisation of US sports betting.
The new office will initially house five staff, who are currently being recruited.
It is expected to be headed up by Marc Brody, who is now the director of business development USA at SBTech, per LinkedIn.
Brody has been a gaming and sportsbook consultant for the past five years and has previously held positions at DraftKings and bwin.
The office will see SBTech try to establish links with US land-based gambling partners ahead of the potential legalisation of sports betting, should the Supreme Court rule in New Jersey’s favour next year.
SBTech is already a member of the American Gaming Association betting taskforce, a group that is lobbying for the legalisation of sports betting in the US, and said it wants to be a “part of the process any way it can”.
