SBTech launches Oregon State Lottery sportsbook
Scoreboard app now available to bettors with a retail product to be launched next year
Sportsbook supplier SBTech has launched the US’ first state lottery-owned sportsbook platform in partnership with Oregon State Lottery.
Users of the Scoreboard mobile app have access to multiple markets and bet types.
A retail betting arm with statewide kiosks will be rolled-out in 2020 to compliment the product.
“The Oregon Lottery is a true pioneer in this space, being the first state lottery in the US to launch online sports betting,” SBTech US president Melissa Riahei said.
“We look forward to providing our innovative and experience-driven products, alongside our full range of managed marketing services, to make this endeavour a huge success for the state of Oregon and its citizens,” Riahei said.
Oregon Lottery director Barry Pack said: “SBTech is an invaluable partner to us, and we look forward to using SBTech’s innovative products to provide an engaging, entertaining and seamless experience for our players.”
SBTech recently announced its was building a new betting product for former Swedish lottery monopoly Svenska Spel.
