Scientific Games bolsters leadership line-up with two key hires
Matt Wilson joins as CEO for gaming as Siobhan Lane is appointed chief commercial officer

Las Vegas-headquartered gaming supplier Scientific Games has recruited Matt Wilson as group chief executive for gaming and Siobhan Lane as chief commercial officer (CCO).
Previously, Wilson spent more than 15 years at rival provider Aristocrat, culminating in a two-and-half-year spell as president and MD for the Americas.
Meanwhile, Lane has more than 12 years’ experience in the industry and was most recently SVP for marketing and gaming operations for North America at Aristocrat.
She will take up her new role at the Nasdaq-listed company on 1 February, while Wilson is due to commence on 1 March.
The double-hire comes hard on the heels of Connie James being installed as CFO of Scientific Games earlier this month. James also previously worked for Aristocrat, having spent nearly a decade there in senior financial positions.
Derik Mooberry, who has served as the group chief executive for gaming since last May, is to transition to a strategic advisory role to support the new leadership team.
Scientific Games president and CEO Barry Cottle said: “We have assembled an impressive leadership team that will complement the existing leaders and talent in our business, further strengthening our great organisation and enabling our future potential.
He added: “We are committed to making great games and products players and partners love. A strong team of passionate people is the foundation of any great business and will further solidify our position as the world leader in gaming entertainment.”
