Strive Gaming appoints new COO
Ex-TwinSpires VP of product Andrew Holmes set for Vancouver move as he joins C-suite

Strive Gaming has bolstered its C-suite with the appointment of former TwinSpires exec Andrew Holmes as chief operating officer (COO).
Holmes joins the firm from TwinSpires, the online betting division of Churchill Downs, where he served as VP of product from April 2020.
Prior to joining TwinSpires, Holmes spent time with Australian firm BetEasy’s marketing division in Melbourne from February 2019 until March 2020.
Holmes will also be reunited with former Churchill Downs alumnus Corey Loyle, who joined Strive Gaming as head of product last month.
In his role as COO, Strive Gaming noted Holmes would play a “key role” in developing the company’s real money igaming platform.
Holmes will be based at Strive Gaming’s Vancouver office and will form part of the senior management quartet made up of CEO Max Meltzer, President and CCO Damian Xuereb and CTO Jesse Cary.
Holmes said: “Joining Strive as COO represents the culmination of an incredible few years within the igaming industry for me on a personal level.
“It’s an incredibly exciting challenge for me to be joining Strive at such a crucial time for the business, but I believe with the industry experience I can bring to the role plus the support of such an incredible team, we can achieve our ambitions and make 2022 a truly ground-breaking year for the company,” he added.
Max Meltzer, Strive Gaming CEO, commented: “Andrew’s blend of experience across multiple industries such as gaming and finance – where he has worked on everything from unicorn-large business to small and mid-level business – plus his involvement in product and operations roles at C-level, has convinced me he’ll be an ideal fit for this role.”
