TheScore appoints general counsel and compliance chief
Josh Sidsworth joins Toronto-based operator from casino payments provider NRT Technology

TheScore has appointed Josh Sidsworth as its general counsel and chief compliance officer.
Sidsworth joins the firm from casino industry payments provider NRT Technology Corp where he was EVP corporate development and general counsel.
He will be based at the firm‘s head office in Toronto where he will lead legal, regulatory and compliance matters.
Sidsworth said: “I’ve always been a huge fan of theScore and their authentic way of connecting with sports fans.
“Building on this connection by offering users an integrated sports media and betting experience is truly unique, and I’m thrilled to be joining the team to help them deliver on this vision,” he said.
TheScore founder John Levy said Sidsworth experience would be invaluable as the firm pans and executes the expansion of its gaming business, particularly its expansion in new states.
The operator launched its mobile betting app in New Jersey in September and most recently rolled out a new function to enable users to build betslips in the content app to use in the betting app.
