TVG boosts Australia racing offer with new TV rights
Paddy Power Betfair-owned operator to broadcast Australia racing on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays

TVG has expanded its Australian horseracing coverage thanks to a new deal with Sky Racing World, the Kentucky-based subsidiary of Australian wagering operator Tabcorp.
The companies’ new media partnership will see increased TV coverage of Australian racing on TVG and TVG2 from Thursday, March 9.
Under the expanded partnership, the TVG networks will air full-card coverage of top-tier Australian races on the key regional race nights of Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Kip Levin, CEO of TVG, said, “We are always trying to bring the best, most competitive racing in the world to our viewers and ADW customers and as part of that, we are very pleased to expand our partnership with Sky Racing World and Australian racing.”
The new Australian coverage will also be complemented by promotions on the TVG.com ADW site, with a ‘Money Back Special’ available on select Australian races, while TVG Wager Rewards participants can receive triple points when wagering on Australian races.
“As a major ADW partner, TVG has been key to growing our flagship Australian racing product in North America, so we’re excited to expand our partnership with their new Australian racing TV coverage,” said David Haslett, president and CEO of Sky Racing World.
“We look forward to the new broadcasts raising North American interest in Australian racing during the current Sydney Autumn Carnival, featuring The Championships, and beyond.”
Paddy Power Betfair revealed earlier this week TVG was responsible for the majority of its $14.6m US profits, with the operator growing at around 9%.
