Unibet appeals to US market with launch of sports-themed casino games
Kindred Group brand utilizes Philadelphia Eagles partnership to combine sports with casino

Unibet has launched sports-themed online casino games in the US market to appeal to consumers and improve cross-sell capability.
In a unique collaboration with Pala Interactive and NFL franchise the Philadelphia Eagles, Unibet has unveiled Eagles Blackjack and the Eagles Online Slot.
The new blackjack game is available on the Unibet betting and casino mobile app for players in Pennsylvania, while the Eagles Online Slot will launch later this year.
Kindred US SVP Manuel Stan said: “The partnership with the Philadelphia Eagles is truly special and this is a great testimony of how two perfectly aligned organisations can deliver fantastic innovative products for their fans and customers.
“I am extremely proud of the work done by both teams to release the first ever professional themed sports casino game in the United States, and this is just the beginning,” he added.
Unibet parent company Kindred Group first signed a multi-year casino sponsorship deal with the Eagles in October 2019 after entering the US gambling market for the first time.
Catherine Carlson, SVP revenue and strategy at Philadelphia Eagles, said: “We are excited to collaborate with a forward-thinking partner like Unibet whose innovation continues to create new and exciting online opportunities for our fans.
“As the online gaming industry continues to emerge and expand in the marketplace, our partnership with Unibet takes us to a whole new level and allows us to be on the forefront of industry firsts, such as being featured in the country’s first professional sports-themed casino game.”
Kindred’s gaming revenue in Pennsylvania more than doubled in July and August on an uptick in igaming interest brought about during the Covid-19 lockdown.
Kindred SVP USA Manuel Stan recently told EGR North America: “The majority of the growth is coming from casino and since sports has resumed, the focus is gradually shifting.”
