WynnBET gains market access for online betting in Louisiana
Bayou State on track to launch sports betting before end of 2021

WynnBET is expanding its reach to Louisiana after the online betting operator secured market access in the Bayou State.
WynnBET is currently live with its online sportsbook in New Jersey, Colorado, Virginia, Tennessee, Indiana, Michigan, and Arizona, with market access agreements in an additional nine states.
Louisiana marks the 17th jurisdiction in which WynnBET will be able to offer its products and services.
Taking into account ongoing negotiations that would provide market access to an additional seven states, WynnBET’s reach ultimately stands to cover nearly four-fifths of the US adult population.
Louisiana, which legalized both retail and online sports betting earlier this year, was originally targeting the early part of the NFL season to go live.
However, the effects of Hurricane Ida, which slammed the Gulf Coast in late August, have resulted in the entire process getting pushed back by a few weeks.
The adjusted timeline has retail sportsbooks beginning to roll out as soon as the end of October, with online betting expected to be a few months behind.
