
WynnBET strikes sports betting partnership with Colorado Rockies
Deal with MLB franchise expands online operator’s footprint in key US market

WynnBET is the newest sports betting partner of the Colorado Rockies. The mobile betting app from online operator Wynn Interactive – the digital arm of Wynn Resorts – announced the agreement on July 7.
The deal, which designates WynnBET as a ‘proud sports betting partner’ of the Rockies, will see the operator host several premium hospitality events and experiential activations on the main and external concourses during home games at Coors Field.
WynnBET will also be granted access to a variety of Rockies assets for marketing and branding purposes.
That includes rotating WynnBET signage and branding behind the home plate, as well as on the ballpark’s main video boards. WynnBET will also run in-game promotions, with trips to Wynn’s signature property in Las Vegas among the prizes.
Social media and digital represent another key component of the partnership, as WynnBET branding will be integrated into the Rockies’ social accounts, in addition to the team’s portal within the MLB Ballpark app, and across its official club website, Rockies.com.
The partnership continues a recent trend of WynnBET ramping up its brand-building efforts, evidenced by similar deals with the Cincinnati Reds, Memphis Grizzlies, and Detroit Pistons.
All are clearly strategic plays for brand awareness in key states for WynnBET, which is currently live in Colorado, New Jersey, Michigan, Virginia, Indiana, and Tennessee.
Colorado in particular has become one of the bigger and more competitive sports betting markets in the US. In March, the Centennial State became the sixth state to eclipse the $2bn threshold in total handle, reaching the milestone just 11 months after launching online sports betting.
