Bodog launches Mac poker client
Latest phase of recreational poker software launch is first step since Jonas Odman took over as network CEO.

The Bodog Poker Network has launched a Mac-compatible version of its recreational poker software, the company has announced.
It is the first release since former poker network VP Jonas Odman took over from Patrik Selin as chief executive of the network.
Selin left his role in June this year, six months after introducing the new recreational software whose features include anonymous tables and an increase on the number of tables each player can have open at any one time.
Prior to his exit the former Ongame chief had overseen the sale of the Bodog Poker Network to Bodog88 with the Asian-facing brand licensee having taken on board the anonymous table model in March.
Odman (pictured) said of the launch: “The Mac client was always a ‘must have’ offering but to have it up within the first year of the software going live puts us well ahead of where we hoped we would be in terms of player reach at this stage.
“Now that the Mac client is ready we can concentrate on the first B2C marketing push of the recreational poker model,” he added.
A number of other networks and operators have launched their own Mac clients in recent months, with PartyPoker bringing out its version last October.
