Bet365 launches Sprint Poker
Fast-fold variant to be made available on operator's exclusive tables on iPoker network.

Bet365 has become the first iPoker skin to launch a fast-paced poker offering, with Sprint Poker going live on its exclusive tables with immediate effect.
The release comes just days after Playtech announced that its Speed Hold’em product would be rolled out across the network in the coming months – eGaming Review understands that Sprint Poker is the same product merely renamed for the operator.
It is currently available at $0.05/0.10 and $0.10/0.20 blind levels. Gil Rotem, head of gaming operations, told eGR that the operator hoped to roll out the variant at different levels “Over the coming weeks”. Bet365’s ring-fenced tables go no higher than $0.25/0.50.
Sprint Poker will be available in both no-limit and pot-limit hold’em, and Rotem also explained that there is no immediate timeframe to roll out the product for Omaha cash tables or for tournament poker. A Playtech spokesman had told eGR last week that the software provider hoped to introduce a tournament version before the end of the year.
Bet365 is one of the larger skins on the iPoker network and one of few to offer exclusive tables restricted to its own players. A number of other network skins have suggested the Stoke-based firm will be among those included on the top tier of the network’s new two-tier system, set to come into force from September.
A number of other networks and operators already have their own fast-fold variant, including PokerStars, Microgaming and InstaDeal.
