Gaming Realms launches new online casino
Spin Genie the first brand to launch on the AIM-listed gaming group's new proprietary gaming platform

Gaming Realms has launched its first brand on the firm’s new real-money proprietary gaming platform which will be backed with an “aggressive” digital and TV marketing spend, eGaming Review can reveal.
Spin Genie, which was soft-launched on desktop last month and on mobile yesterday, takes elements of social gaming by allowing players to gain access to new levels once a set amount of points are achieved.
Marketing of the brand will be ramped up next month, prior to an extensive campaign in Q1 2015, which Gaming Realms’ recently appointed casino director Jonny Bennett, told eGR would include an “aggressive online and offline” spend.
“[It] is the first brand to launch on Gaming Realms’ brand new real money proprietary platform [so] it’s hugely important and will be a showcase of the hard work that has gone into developing it,” Bennett said.
“We have invested heavily into building an agile, creative and powerful platform which has allowed us to create a fun and exciting gaming environment for our players at Spin Genie,” he added.
The real-money product features slots and casino games provided by International Game Technology and Bennett said the company expected Spin Genie to become a “market leading gaming brand”.
“We wanted to create a destination for players to escape, have fun, be excited,” Bennett said.
“No one else in the gaming industry is trying to do what we’re doing – we’re delivering the player a blend of real money gaming with real social engagement, via multiple devices,” he added.
Bennet was previously managing director of QuickThink Media (QTM) for two years until the affiliate and marketing agency was bought by Gaming Realms last December for £2.2m.
QTM co-founder Simon Smiley, now CMO at Gaming Realms, told eGR at the time that its customer acquisition network would aid a string of real-money launches including new casino and bingo titles.
eGR recently revealed that Gaming Realms had established a new office in Alderney which it said would become the firm’s new “real-money gambling hub” headed up by its former head of products and operations Paul Gielbert.
Spin Genie is the company’s first major product launch since Bingo Godz was debuted last year backed by a multi-million pound advertising campaign.
