Tailorbet appoints ex-Betsafe MD as CEO
Liam Casey joins P2P sports betting network after one year at the helm of Betsson-subsidiary Betsafe

Betsafe managing director Liam Casey has left the Betsson-subsidiary to join white-label sports betting network Tailorbet as its new chief executive, eGaming Review has learned.
Casey replaces founder David McKenzie as CEO of the peer-to-peer network solution and follows the departure of chief operating officer Rachel Epps who recently joined the BBC as executive technical product manager.
The new chief executive left the Nordics-focused sports betting operator, which was acquired by Betsson three years ago, in April after only 12 months in charge and a successor has yet to be announced by Betsafe.
“My time at Betsafe was fantastic, but it was very difficult to pass up the opportunity to become CEO of what I believe is the most disruptive B2B and B2C offering to appear in the marketplace for years,” Casey told eGaming Review
“The biggest challenge is in continual optimisation of the product experience, and I hope to bring a laser-like focus on how Tailorbet can bring a great customer experience that augments operators and media partners overall product offering,” he added.
Prior to leading Betsafe, Casey worked as head of operations and marketing at Wagerlogic which was recently sold by Amaya Gaming to Goldstar Acquisitionco in a deal worth up to CA$70m.
Tailorbet was founded by David McKenzie and received its licence from the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission last February.
