Betfair adds Ukash payments portfolio
Ukash to provide its voucher-based payment processing service for Betfair's desktop and mobile sites
Betfair has incorporated Ukash’s voucher-based payment processing service into its desktop and mobile gambling sites.
The system has been added today with Betfair allowing customers to make both deposits and withdrawals using vouchers that are bought from shops throughout the UK.
The vouchers come with a unique 19-digit code which can then be used to credit an account with the system working in reverse for cash withdrawals, however customers wishing to use the system will be required to pass an identity verification process beforehand.
The Ukash codes can also be converted into cash without the use of a bank card using ATMs provided by Bank Machine following a deal between the two companies signed last July.
“Ukash offers a secure and easy method of deposit and withdrawing, supporting our wider on-going aim of making it easier for customers to transact with Betfair,” Ian Chuter, group operations director at Betfair, said.
The addition of Betfair boosts Ukash’s growing roster of eGaming clients which includes the like of bet365, William Hill, Gala Coral, bwin.party and 888.
