William Hill overhauls mobile app payments
Gibraltar-licensed operator adds new payment functionality and seamless integration across its web and native apps

William Hill has revamped its mobile payments facility to offer customers a wider range of options and a seamless experience across desktop, native and web applications.
Existing desktop payment methods such as PayPal and Skrill have been added to all its mobile services, along with multi-credit and debit card payments to enable customers to quickly switch between registered cards for deposits and withdrawals.
William Hill’s director of mobile Juergen Reutter told eGaming Review the upgrades will enhance the experience for its mobile users and simplify the way they manage their payments.
“We see payments as a key touch point of the user experience and we have now provided seamless and deeply integrated payment functionality across all channels to further enhance this,” Reutter said.
“With the latest mobile payment release, our customers now have the full range of payment methods seamlessly integrated into our mobile apps.”
“We continuously strive to improve our customer experience,” he added. “We want to offer our customers the very best user experience possible, no matter the device or operating systems they use.”
The updated mobile app follows the launch of William Hill’s new technological “centre of excellence” in Shoreditch which will be focused on the development of new mobile products.
The move will make Hills the first FTSE 100 company to open offices in the area, known as Silicon Roundabout, with around 40 staff positioned there initially.
