Bet365 goes mobile on iPoker network
Company unveils its new mobile poker client on the Playtech network

Gaming giant bet365 has become one of the first operators on Playtech’s iPoker network to launch a mobile client.
The Stoke-based operator last week soft launched its new mobile poker offering on iOS-supported devices through its poker.bet365.com domain. The mobile client is not available on Android as Playtech is yet to support the Linux-based operating system.
The company plans to fully release the product on its main domain later this week after encountering no technical problems thus far.
“This is a new product in conjunction with Playtech and, as always, we wanted to make sure everything was 100% which is why we decided on an initial soft launch,” Gil Rotem, COO at bet365, told eGamingReview.
Rotem said the mobile site encourages players to remain “in-house” on bet365 tables rather than join outside networks so players can compete in “a much safer environment as we don’t have many sharks”.
The site could yet undergo some changes after Rotem revealed the company has “a few more ideas” in the pipeline to improve the product.
The launch comes around the same time as Antigua and Barbuda-licensed egaming operator Winner also released it mobile product on to the Playtech network.
iPoker’s mobile client will compete against other operators already offering a mobile poker client, including the likes of Pokerstars, 888Poker and Winamax.
Bwin.party has revealed a re-launch of its PartyPoker product is now expected within the next fortnight, with CEO Norbert Teufelberger stating the product will be available across all channels.
