Bet Butler launches club-branded betting sites
UK-licensed cross-bookmaker signs up more than 80 Football League and Premier League clubs.
Concierge betting service Bet Butler has announced the launch of club-branded betting websites and mobile apps for over 80 Football League and Premier League clubs.
Bet Butler launched in August last year ahead of the 20th Premier league season with the aiming of giving punters access to the best odds from international bookmakers through a single Bet Butler account and without the need for multiple betting accounts.
The new websites and mobile apps offer customers the best available odds from more than 60 different bookmakers, and will also enable fans to support their club financially, with clubs earning a share of the cash based on winning and losing bets, the company said in a statement.
Chris Bell, the ex-Ladbrokes CEO who joined Bet Butler as chairman in September, said of the launch: “We’re delighted to offer the fans of so many clubs a service that benefits both the clubs and their supporters. It is a marvellous endorsement of our unique technology which will offer the fans the best available price, but also deliver an important revenue stream for their club at the click of a button.”
In July Bet Butler launched its first offering to the Asian market, teaming up with sportsbook platform provider InplayMatrix.
That announcement followed Bet Butler’s recent partnership deal with mobile sports data provider Worldlink, which became the official betting and gaming partner of Sunderland AFC earlier this month and followed that with a similar deal with Newcastle United FC.
