Betclic re-launches Monte-Carlo Casino brand
Paris-headquartered operator unveils revamped online casino featuring games from NetEnt and Quickfire

Betclic Everest Group (BEG) has re-launched its Monte-Carlo Casino brand in partnership with the land-based casino’s owner The Société des Bains de Mer (SBM).
Montecarlocasino.com, which spent a year in development, went live earlier this month under BEG’s UK and Malta licences as the operator targets an improved performance from the casino vertical.
The online casino was launched on Betclic’s proprietary gaming platform and features games from Net Entertainment and Quickfire, with additional titles from IGT, WMS and Amaya to be unveiled soon.
Features on the website also include a redesigned dashboard and new VIP scheme The Cercle Club, which ties to the Monte-Carlo Casino VIP program.
“Designing the official online counterpart to the Monte-Carlo casino was always going to be a daunting challenge,” Isabelle Andres, CEO of BEG, said.
“Many unique features accentuate our close relationship with the land-based Monte-Carlo, including the use of the actual interiors for our online games rooms,” she added.
The re-launch comes after Andres had previously told eGaming Review of the Paris-headquartered firm’s pledge to invest more resources into the Monte-Carlo Casino brand which she said had been underutilised.
Betclic hired former Mr Green chief marketing officer Henrik Svensson as senior consultant and director of international markets to lead its casino expansion into territories such as the Nordics.
