IGT launches Ghostbusters slot
Popular land-based slot based on classic 80's film launched online.
IGT has announced the launch of an online version of its land-based Ghostbusters slot, which the company claims features more video clips and character animations than any other IGT game.
The supplier’s commercial director of interactive, EMEA Leigh Nissim described the launch as part of the company’s strategy to leverage its most popular land-based games by bringing them online.
“As well as its proven casino heritage, the game shows a branded slot at its best. Ghostbusters is absolutely packed with exciting features and incredible production, all faithfully based on the film, to ensure that it will appeal to all types of players,” Nissim added.
These features include a bonus game based on the scene in the Sedgewick Hotel, the Ballroom Busters Bonus, where players have to shoot up the hotel ballroom and various ghosts in order to win extra cash, while the Multiplier Gag sees the Slimer ghost randomly assign a 2x to 5x multiplier to increase all line wins.
The launch comes less than a week after IGT announced a deal with Paddy Power, which will see the Irish operator become the first OpenBet customer to take content from IGT’s Remote Gaming Server casino portfolio.
